If you are worried about your own or someone else's drinking and/or substance use there is support available.

What We Do

As opposed to focusing on negatives and the “wrongs” of the user - we encourage the use of positive psychology and concentrate on building upon the strengths of all family members affected by substance use to offer bespoke guidance and support.

The vast majority of people after treatment are thrown back into life after either living institutionally or undertaking treatment within the community. Despite some amazing therapeutic intervention work, real life can be vicious and more often than not devours those in recovery and spits them back out without a care in the world - entry back into treatment can be out of a lot of peoples grasp at this point due to financial implications, mindset or availability.

WE ARE PARTNERED WITH

Our Story

Two weeks after this photo was taken, our lives as a family changed. Ben attempted to take his life after a secret battle with alcohol addiction had left him struggling physically, mentally and emotionally - the only way he saw to make it all stop - was to take his life. Luckily we were fortunate enough to find a private rehabilitation placement and almost two and a half years later he is alive, the children still have their dad and as a family we are in recovery. We made the decision to do it together.

It’s All About Activities

Getting together with family, friends, or teammates can be a game-changer when it comes to beating substance abuse. Whether it's a weekend hike with the family, a group yoga session, or playing on a sports team, these activities create strong bonds and support systems. When you're surrounded by people who care about you and share common goals, it's easier to stay away from harmful substances. Plus, these activities boost your mood and confidence, making you less likely to turn to substances for a pick-me-up. So, next time you're feeling stressed or tempted, reach out to your crew and get active together.
